  3. Be able to carry out roles and responsibilities consistent with professional practice

 

Brief: “You are asked to explore ideas and produce a design/s for a timeline detailing the history of UCM. This timeline will be located in the Victor Neale Wing.”  — Jo Pretty

Launch: 10th December 2018

Deadline: 11th March 2019

Things to include:

  • Key people
  • History of principals
  • Key moments in history (worldwide, island, college)
  • Interview people (find opinions)
  • Evolution of students (age, gender, race / part-time, full-time, prison)
  • College colour palette: red, grey, yellow (mustard), teal, purple
  • Different subjects
  • Buildings/sites/locations (Braille Scott, Annie Gill, Hall Caine, Henry Loch)
  • Technology related to time (font, design, layout, colour)
  • New technology
  • Educate, Inspire, Inclusive

Monday

Work on graphics during lunch plus for about 30 minutes at home

 

Tuesday

Work on blog/non digital work during directed study in the first lesson(Typically contextual work)

Work on animation during break

Work on video for 30 min at home

 

Wednesday

Work on animation/Interactive media during lunch, work on both at home for an hour(I enjoy working on this game)

 

Thursday

Work on Motion graphics during lunch, sometimes for 30 minutes at home if necessary

 

Friday

Work on photography during break

Work on Kathryn’s work/incomplete work during directed study

Saturday

Work on any incomplete work for 1-2 hours
