Analyse the audio from a scene from a movie

I chose this scene because the music is a lot more subtle in it.

For the most part this scene is silent, this could be to show how alone Tip and Oh feel, this is until they meet each other

There is only music later on as Tip gets closer to Oh, building up until she sees him. This is to bring a feeling of suspense.

The music thereafter is mostly silly and brings a lighthearted feeling. This is probably to make what would be a serious interaction easier to watch

Tip’s flashback starts with a sort of popping bubble sound, this tells the viewer that we are looking at a memory. The audio and music during this flashback helps convey the feeling that her mom is being abducted by aliens.

 

The diegetic sound mostly is mostly to convey actions and also conversations. The overall conversations help show how the characters are feeling.

Oh is on edge, Tip is feeling upset. In this scene, Tip has more power than Oh.
